Lipolysis is a fat-dissolving injection treatment that eliminates fat cells beneath the skin. It focuses on stubborn areas where fat is difficult to lose, even with diet or exercise. The treatment helps reduce excess fat and fluid, smooth cellulite, and improve blood circulation and skin texture.

Lipolysis
For instance, 1 ml of the active substance is most effective for an area of about 10 cm x 10 cm. Therefore, 5 ml is suitable for treating larger areas such as the legs, abdomen, or back, depending on the size of the area. For the double chin, usually 1–2 ml is required.
Who is the treatment suitable for?
Lipolysis is suitable for both men and women who wish to reduce stubborn, localized fat deposits that don’t respond to diet or exercise. It is not a weight-loss method but a body contouring treatment for problem areas.
Which areas can be treated?
- Cheeks
- Double chin
- Abdomen
- Upper arms (bingo wing area)
- Back
- Knee area
- Inner and outer thighs
- Flanks (“love handles”)
- Buttocks
Are there any side effects?
The skin may feel slightly sensitive and warm after the procedure, with possible redness and swelling. Bruising can also occur, and some itching may be felt.
When treating the double chin area, swelling lasting several days is common. However, these side effects are temporary and usually subside within a few days.
When do the results become visible?
Patience is required, as the results of fat removal take time to appear. Final results usually become visible around 8 weeks after the procedure, since the body needs this time to break down and eliminate the fat cells.
Tissue fluid circulation begins to improve the day after treatment. Maintaining healthy habits, a balanced diet, and regular exercise will further support and prolong the results
How many treatments are needed, and how often?
Most people need a course of 2 – 4 lipolysis sessions, usually spaced 2 – 3 weeks apart, depending on the area and individual goals.
Maintenance is rarely needed once fat cells are eliminated, as they do not regenerate — but a healthy lifestyle helps preserve results

Lipolysis can be combined with treatments such as Ultrasonic cavitation, Radiofrequency, Pressotherapy and EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) treatments.
