For body
Pressotherapy is a medical and beauty treatment that promotes lymphatic drainage by using air pressure on different parts of the body. By alternating between compression and decompression, it effectively stimulates the lymphatic system.
Pressotherapy, also known as lymphatic drainage, is a non-invasive treatment that involves the application of air pressure, alternating between compression and decompression on parts of the body. This can help to stimulate the lymphatic system which helps to clear toxins from the body and stimulate blood circulation. Pressure is applied with a specialised pressotherapy device. Pressotherapy has both cosmetic and medical uses.

Benefits of pressotherapy
Pressotherapy offers a wide range of health and beauty benefits by using pressure waves to stimulate the body:
- Improved circulation – helps relieve circulatory system disorders and venous issues such as varicose veins, tired legs, and heavy limbs.
- Reduction of swelling and fluid retention – assists in draining excess liquids, fats, and toxins that contribute to cellulite.
- Smoother, firmer skin – restores skin elasticity, increases oxygen flow to tissues, and supports natural regeneration.
- Support for weight loss and fitness goals – when combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise, pressotherapy enhances results and helps achieve goals faster.
The treatment also stimulates the immune system, building up your defenses against pathogens, and can even help you lower your blood pressure if you have hypertension.
Pressotherapy can also help with digestive problems; when the treatment is applied to the abdomen it stimulates bowel transit and relieves constipation issues.
Elite athletes also use pressotherapy to improve their physical fitness. It is the perfect complement for toning muscles and joints. But is also relaxes the muscles, reducing muscle fatigue and preventing pain and cramping. Moreover, it strengthens connective tissues, alleviates stress and tension and reduces muscle spasms.

Is Pressotherapy safe and are there any side effects?
Yes, pressotherapy is a safe, non-invasive, and painless treatment. Most people find it relaxing and comfortable, similar to a gentle massage.
Side effects are very rare, but in some cases you may experience temporary redness, increased urination, or a mild feeling of lightness or fatigue as the body eliminates fluids and toxins. These effects usually pass quickly.
Pressotherapy is not recommended for people with certain medical conditions such as deep vein thrombosis, severe heart disease, active infections, or if you are pregnant.
How many sessions are needed and how often?
Typically, a course of 6–10 sessions is recommended, performed 1–2 times per week. The exact number of sessions will depend on the treatment area, your goals, and how your body responds. Maintenance sessions can be scheduled as needed.
We do not recommend more than 3 sessions per week. Clinical studies have shown that, for most people, a course of 8–15 treatments delivers the best results.
Is there any recovery time required after the treatment?
There are no restrictions or limitations, and clients can resume their normal activities immediately after the treatment.
When do results become visible?
You will notice an instant boost immediately after just one treatment but as with all our skin treatments we recommend a minimum course of 3-6 treatments to obtain optimum results.
What areas can be treated?
- Legs (thighs, calves, varicose vein support, tired/heavy legs)
- Arms
- Abdomen and waist
- Back and flanks
- Buttocks and hips
- Feet and ankles
We can treat separate areas individually, or combine multiple areas in the same session for greater results.
How to prepare for pressotherapy?
Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session, and avoid heavy meals for at least 1 hour before. Wear comfortable clothing, and let us know in advance if you have any medical conditions.
What post-treatment care is recommended?
- Drink at least 1.5 litres of water per day to stimulate the lymphatic system and support the flushing of toxins and elimination process.
- Avoiding caffeine, alcohol, and other toxins for at least 24 hours.
- Avoiding strenuous exercise immediately after the session (light activity like walking is fine).
- Avoiding heavy, salty meals that may cause fluid retention.Combine pressotherapy with a healthy diet and active lifestyle to maximise your results. Please note that pressotherapy is not a substitute for healthy living, but rather a complement to it.
- Perform a firm massage on the treated areas daily to encourage the movement of fat cell contents into the lymphatic system.
